Review movie ‘Ghost boy 2’ (Brahms: The boy II) lacks horror

Review the movie Ghost Boy 2 (The boy II) as an male version of Annabelle with the male doll is the cause of a series of brutal cases.

Just went to see “Ghost boy 2” (Brahms: The boy II) come back, and now I feel like I’ve hit the bottom of pain. Because there’s never been a month to go to a bunch of horror movies, and finally no movie comes out like this. The article Review film “Ghost boy” (Brahms: The boy II) has revealed the content of the movie you consider before reading about 123movies.

In 2016, STX Entertainment released the psychological thriller “The Boy” starring Lauren Cohan, the actress known for playing Maggie Greene in The Walking Dead series. To be frank, the film is only average but still makes me think about the Heelshire tragedy forever. From an elderly couple who love their children blindly, to their son Brahms, who has a mental problem, he has to live like a ghost in his own house.

It’s still a story about beauty and monsters, but the end is not “Then they get married and live happily later” like fairy tales. Because Brahms is just a big man with a face ruined by the old fire. Greta also could not accept that he was always stalking her and ready to kill. Brahms always longed for love, but what he received was not the tearful tears of true love, but the painful stab by Greta himself. She turned around just to save Malcolm, not for him. I don’t know how people are doing, but I feel a bit heartbreaking when I watch the Brahms segment reassemble pieces of a doll even though it is only a few seconds long. His parents killed himself, Greta left. So now Brahms is left alone, alone in a large house.

For me, such an opening ending was more than enough. So when I got the information about the sequel, I felt quite surprised and curious. It is not clear what the direction of “Brahms: The boy II” will be when Lauren Cohan and James Russell are not returning to play Greta and Brahms. And STX Entertainment immediately took a firefight. It was to crack the Boy to clear the way for this part 2.

The movie “Ghost boy 2” is about the family of Liza and Sean, whose son Jude loves to scare his mother. There is also “Sometimes fear makes us happy.” But fun is not fun, that very night, Jude and Lisa were given two giant robbers for a super huge surprise when they broke into the house and almost killed Liza. After that incident, Jude lost her voice. To make Jude feel safe, Sean decided to move to a quiet, peaceful countryside. But unfortunately, more than half of the horror movies are derived from the main character’s move but did not understand the background. And of course they moved into the Heelshire mansion without knowing anything about its bloody past. And Jude quickly found Brahms porcelain dolls.

Those who have watched “Ghost boy” know the real problem is not the doll but the Brahms which always lurks in the house. But coming to “Little ghost 2” (Brahms: The boy II), the real Brahms died from suicide and his fate was only mentioned in a few short lines. And the manufacturer is determined to turn Brahms into the Annabelle male version, so it has been the cause of a series of brutal tragedies. This is completely contradictory to the previous section but since “Brahms: The boy II” is an independent sequel, I can let it go.

This is if the movie is of good quality, but the unfinished level of part 2 has reached infinity. The first part left at least a bit of impression with the cool, quiet atmosphere of the large and mysterious old house surrounding the doll and the Heelshire couple. And the circuit of “Brahms: The boy II” is regular, no highlight. All around just talking about the daily life of Liza’s house. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and bedtime. After watching, I just want to sleep in the theater.

Reputation is a horror movie but it does not have a moment of scary scare. It’s no exaggeration to say all the scenes that are considered scary are all featured on the trailer. The part of the centipede crawling out of Brahms’ ears when Jude asked “What should we do now” was like being put in to appear dangerous because nothing happened after that. I didn’t think the climax when Jude threw Brahms into the incinerator would suddenly cut off one, all the movies ??? Perhaps Brahms did not even counterattack, so that accepted to be destroyed stars. Having lost her buff on par with Annabelle, at least giving Brahms a bit of power. All problems were resolved in the next minute, while the audience did not understand what just happened.

One thing that made me nervous after watching that movie was the purpose of Brahms. At first, Jude wrote 10 lengthy rules like Part 1, I still thought she wanted a companion. But its true intention is to manipulate children to kill their parents because at the end Liza finds articles about the Brahms-related tragedies. Is that too redundant? Suddenly listing a ton of rules, but for nothing. So Brahms did not know how to beat fast and fast, just hanging around to end up being thrown into the crematorium. And did you see anyone who was going to kill but didn’t tell the story to the victim, let Jude draw out the paper as well. If you expose all your heavenly powers, what else can you do?

Not to mention “Brahms: The boy II” is also in the form of an elephant tail, says a lot but does not do much. The trailer touts “The truth about Brahms will be revealed,” but how about it? We know every Brahms tells kids to kill their parents through articles, so what? Nothing more. And how was Brahms created? Who is the possessor and why was it chosen as the possessor? Why not exploit those points but keep rambling to the end. Or the manufacturer plans to purchase goods to continue part 3 entitled “Brahms: Creation” like Annabelle? But with a poor score of 4.3 / 10 on IMDb, 32/100 from metacritic.com and a mere 9% of Rotten Tomatoes, I don’t think this series will have a sequel.

“Brahms: The boy II” also has a repressive main character, typically Liza. Well, I know that Liza was robbed and attacked when her husband wasn’t home. But it’s not like Sean wants to be late, people still go to work. So at that time still angry at her husband for no reason. If you feel uncomfortable, you have to say it to share with others, but just shut up and finish with a heavy face, then you can solve the problem. I sat and watched and felt tired instead of my husband. Not only that, she also has a very different mindset. When you see a son missing, who do you think the mother will think of first? Husband? Cop? No, that was usually too. Liza plays loudly by calling the doctor. Watch this paragraph to see true silence. Liza tired of viewers thanks largely to the stiff acting of Katie Holmes. The whole film she did not frown, she also rolled her eyes, acting like returning a song.

Review of the movie “Ghost Boy 2” (Brahms: The boy II) is a horror film with a poor quality in terms of content and images, is a typical example of the producer having to taste bitter fruits when haming. milking pit a brand which is not so good. Not only because of the 4-year gap has made the appeal of the film cool down but by now the audience is too familiar with a haunted, killer doll motif.
